The shopping centre offers a diverse range of retailers, dining options and essential services all under one roof and just 5km north of the Brisbane CBD. The centre is well located with exposure to major transport corridors and has ample parking. The centre has also become an office hub dominated by government funded tenants that require flexibility and convenience outside of the Brisbane CBD.
Redevelopment works were completed in November 2019 with a new Aldi and Woolworths, as well as a fully refurbished Coles supermarket. The centre is now positioned as a super convenience retail centre with a focus on fresh food, dining and services.

Built in 1974, the centre has been known under a number of different names, including ‘Lutwyche Shopping Village’ and ‘Centro Lutwyche City’, until 2015 when Abacus bought the centre with a 75% share. In 2017 the centre underwent a major redevelopment and in 2018 ISPT announced they would be 50% share partners with Abacus. The redevelopment works completed in 2019, including a final rename to ‘Lutwyche Market Central’ with full line Woolworths and Level 1 office hub dominated by government funded tenants that require the flexibility of being outside the CBD.
