Evolution

Built in 1974, the centre has been known under a number of different names, including ‘Lutwyche Shopping Village’ and ‘Centro Lutwyche City’, until 2015 when Abacus bought the centre with a 75% share. In 2017 the centre underwent a major redevelopment and in 2018 ISPT announced they would be 50% share partners with Abacus. The redevelopment works completed in 2019, including a final rename to ‘Lutwyche Market Central’ with full line Woolworths and Level 1 office hub dominated by government funded tenants that require the flexibility of being outside the CBD.
